Much of the eastern portion of our land remains open to honor our fallen soldiers of all eras, and to respect the 52 soldiers in the mass grave mound in the southeast. Starting on the western edge of the ring road, several community groups oversee parts of our land and host events therein.

Malvern Park & Civic

In 1947, this group of citizens began adding park amenities for the public such as tennis courts, baseball diamonds, playground equipment, picnic benches, and a picnic pavilion.

For $50, our annual tennis members receive a key to the tennis/pickle ball courts. Please mail your payment to the Malvern Park & Civic Association, PO Box 544, Malvern, PA, 19355. Please indicate the tennis member’s first and last names, phone number, mailing address, and email address. New keys are sent out as the weather warms in late winter/early spring. Please reach out to us on our Contact Us page with questions.

Chester Valley Little League

Youth baseball has been played on the two baseball fields since 1952, with the Chester Valley Little League being chartered in 1956. CVLL has more recently added a t-ball field for our younger players and has broken ground to add a bathroom facility at one of the Monument Avenue fields. CVLL offers leagues from tee ball to senior in both baseball and softball, and both Malvern Borough and Willistown residents are eligible to join.

Scouting America and The Malvern Memorial Cabin

On September 20, 1958, the authentic Revolutionary War-era cabin at 600 Monument Rd was dedicated for use. The Malvern Memorial Cabin Foundation oversees the cabin for both Scouting and certain community events.

Troop 7, formed in 1916, is the second oldest Scouting America troop in Chester County, PA. Meeting on the grounds are Malvern Troop 7 (ages 11-17), Malvern Troop 77 (boys 12-18 who have Autism), Troop 76G (girls ages 11-17), and Pack 7 (grades 1-5).
